What should my child wear for class?
Please allow your children to wear whatever they feel comfortable in. The most important thing is ensuring that your little ones are protected from the elements.
For our leagues, we will be providing every participant with a jersey on week one which we ask they wear each class.
With regards to footwear, children can wear cleats but runners are also fine.
We do recommend that all children wear shin guards and soccer socks to minimize any potential bumps.
We also ask that parents ensure each child has a full bottle of water each class.
On the hotter days sunscreen and caps / sun hats are highly reccomended. We will also be taking lots of water breaks!
Muddy Buddies / rain jackets, rain boots are perfectly ok! Feel free to put your jersey on over the top of you rain protection!
What are your COVID-19 safety procedures?

If your little one misses more than one week of classes due to illness or injury, please contact the HappyFeet Director to discuss billing and make-up options.
Cancellation due to weather
Our Leagues and Camps will run rain or shine but If, for whatever reason, the field should become unsafe to play on we will notify all participants ahead of time via text and email. If this is the case we will make every attempt to reschedule cancelled classes to another time. We will not be able to issue refunds if we are unable to reschedule due to weather.
A full refund, minus a $25 processing fee, will be provided if you withdraw your little one 24 hours before the start of the first scheduled class for which they are registered. Once the first class run, the league or camp is considered to have officially started. Players who withdraw from either league or camp prior to the second class will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be made after the second class of the league or camp.
How do your classes work?
At HappyFeet we teach soccer in an age appropriate manner which places having fun at the forefront of everything we do. We leverage creative play and the important developmental skills it provides to make fitness and soccer their favorite weekly activity! We want to grow your soccer star's self concept and confidence so that they feel comfortable in our social setting.
Tiny Toes, Big Toes and HappyFeet Classes
We use a themed ball called 'Bob the Bobcat' and he is central to how we run our classes. The children will sing songs and take Bob on adventures throughout the first 30 minutes of our class. During this time, the kids will work their way through a structured curriculum working on their cognitive and motor skills as well as learning some awesome soccer skills. We want your little one to fall in love with Bob and, in turn, fall in love with Soccer!
For Tiny Toes classes, we ask parents to initially participate alongside their little ones with the goal that the kids gradually become independent enough to work alongside their coaches and new teammates. The final 15 minutes of class is a parent stay-and-play where the coaches will work the field with your kiddos and encourage them to score lots of goals and have lots of fun with a soccer ball at their feet.
For Big Toes and Happy Feet Classes, the final 30 minutes of class would usually comprise of a soccer game. Until the current restrictions regarding contact sports are lifted, however, this time will be replaced by team drills and games, giving lots of opportunity for showing off skills and scoring goals!
HappyFeet Plus Classes
Our HappyFeet Plus classes provide the perfect opportunity for your soccer star to learn and practice skills in game settings. Where we may have moved on from stories and adventures, all of our classes are still themed in order to further engage with our players. Our curriculum is designed to ensure all children are allowed to develop and excel at their own pace whilst maximizing skill development. The kids will work their way through a structured curriculum building on their cognitive and motor skills, perfectling individual skills and developing their 'team' play.
Does my child need prior soccer experience to participate?
Absolutely not! All of our programming is designed to welcome beginners to the program at any age. There is no pressure to excel in any of our classes, we just want to encourage a safe environment where fun and skill acquisition go hand in hand.
HappyFeet Plus Classes
Our HappyFeer Plus class generally consists of children who have prior HappyFeet experience, but we do have kids with no prior experience who attend and quickly fall in love with soccer. We have assistant coaches present to ensure that new comers feel comfortable and are brought up to speed quickly in a fun environment.
How many participants are in your classes?
In our leagues there are usually 12-14 students in a class with two coaches. There will be 1 lead coach supported by 1 assistant coach.
